The BG-12000 System is designed to deliver exceptional water purification performance through advanced, multi-stage filtration. It effectively reduces chlorine taste and odor, chloramines, cloudiness, sediment, rust, lime scale, asbestos fibers, oxidized iron, oxidized manganese, and oxidized sulfides. The system provides 0.5–1.0 micron nominal particulate reduction (Class 1) and is engineered to reduce lead, trihalomethanes (TTHMs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE). Newly certified to 0.2 micron reduction standards, the BG-12000 also targets a range of pharmaceuticals and emerging compounds, including phenytoin, naproxen, estrone, ibuprofen, bisphenol A, and nonyl phenol. In addition, it is newly certified for the reduction of 1,2,3-TCP and microplastics. Built for both performance and convenience, the BG-12000 features an integrated electronic water flow meter and a 0.2 micron pharmaceutical-grade membrane, delivering a flow rate of 0.75 gallons per minute with a 1,000-gallon capacity. The system utilizes advanced quad-stage filtration and engineered carbon block technology to conserve water while maximizing filter life. Its patented in-head shut-off valve allows for easy installation, while the innovative single-cartridge design and slim profile enable placement in tight or hard-to-reach locations. Cartridge components, labeling, and packaging are made from renewable and recyclable materials, and an easy cartridge recycling program supports environmental responsibility.
